When it comes to losing weight, everyone is trying to do it as quickly as possible but at the same time are not looking to put the amount of work in. We are going, to be honest with you right now; if you want to lose weight, you are going to have to work. While there are things that can help here and there, if you want things to be fast, you are going to have to make sacrifices to achieve your goals. Take Supplements

One of the first things that you should look to be doing to get into shape is taking supplements for your body. This doesn’t mean you have to start taking pre-workout, but it does mean you should look to take vitamins and any other nutrients that you might be lacking. There are also some supplements out there that are associated with weight loss and can help kickstart your journey if you take them. Studies have shown recently that a chemical compound known as dmae can help your body lose weight. Once we mention that, a lot of people will ask “what is dmae?” and that is definitely a fair question to ask. DMAE or Dimethylaminoethanol, dimethylethanolamine, Deanol is a compound that is used in many creams and supplements. It has been shown that it can encourage weight loss along with many other added benefits.

Whenever you are taking new supplements, we always recommend taking the time to read up on them and seeing what is inside of them. The last thing you want to do is take something that is going to harm you. If at any point when taking supplements you notice adverse effects, you should immediately stop taking them and see your doctor. Most of the time it is not the supplement that is the issue, but instead an issue within your body. Getting things checked out can definitely help you in the long run. Count Your Calories

At the end of the day, the easiest way to lose weight is to count your calories and monitor how much you are eating versus how much you are expending. There are plenty of diets out there and while some have some nice added benefits to them, at the end of the day, if your calories are too high, you are going to be gaining weight.

Does this mean you should starve yourself and keep your calories extremely low? This is not recommended as it can have huge negative effects on your health and can cause many problems in the future. While you will notice a considerable amount of weight loss in the first few days of starving yourself, eventually your metabolism will slow down and the weight loss will cease. From there, eating even 2000 calories in the day will result in weight gain. Experts recommend dropping your calorie intake about 25-33% lower than the recommended daily for maximum results. This will ensure that the numbers on the scale go down, while also keeping your body healthy and properly working.

Exercise

Finally, you are going to have to get up and go to the gym if you want to see a difference on the scale. Remember in counting calories we said it’s calorie intake vs. calories expended? If you aren’t expending calories, you’re not optimizing the amount of weight you can be losing. While we don’t recommend starving yourself, you can burn off calories to get your daily intake much lower.

Take this example of cardio and diet. You eat 1500 calories a day and then burn off 500 when you go for a run. Your net calories for the day are 1000 and this is going to result in you losing weight. If you choose to just eat 1000, you are going to be slowing down your metabolism, and therefore not losing as much weight. There are no secrets here, you are going to have to exercise and put the work in if you want to see results.

These are all ways in which you can get yourself onto the weight loss train. It will take a bit of time for the program to ramp up and have you losing a ton of weight, but if you work hard enough, you can achieve your goals.
