Laniakea Beach
For more free family fun, check out the sea turtles at Laniakea Beach. The turtles love to swim up to the shore to feed on seaweed and sunbathe in the afternoon. Many tour buses will stop here before making their way to other attractions.
Waimea Bay
West from Haleiwa Town is Waimea Bay, where the best of the best surfers come out to ride the waves. The notorious Eddie surf contest is held there and only runs when the waves reach 30 feet. It has impressive rock jumping, rock climbing, snorkeling, underwater tunnels, and prime sunsets.
Kapiolani Park
In the middle of the city, you can find tranquility with your family at Kapiolani Park. Located on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki, pack and picnic lunch and enjoy the peace and quiet. Kaena Point

You’ll likely spot a Laysan albatross or a sunbathing monk seal inside the sanctuary. It’s important to note that it’s not only dangerous but against the law to interact with them.
